Grants To Individuals

Grants are available to Organisations and Individuals whose actions are undertaken in furtherance of Quaker Testimonies.

Grants to Individuals are limited to those who have a connection to Dundee Meeting or East of Scotland Area Meeting.  Items covered are generally limited to travel, books and course fees.  Bursary grants are available to Friends and Attenders of Dundee Local Meeting for attendance at Quaker or related conferences and meetings to cover course costs / fees and to include reasonable travel expenses and subsistence if the course is non-residential.

Grants are made at the June Meeting of the Trust and applications must be received by 31^st May.

Grants to Individuals are made from a budget determined annually by the Trustees and a limited to such that:

·         The total of grants to individuals will normally be no more than 25% of the total grant budget (currently £11,000) and

·         The maximum grant awarded to individuals will be set annually and will be specified in the application form and further particulars to individuals.
